    Ben Einstein



    Principal



    Ben has worked on many aspects of product development from concept initiation and refinement to prototyping and small-scale production to full-scale manufacturing for a variety of products at various product development firms around the country. At Brainstream, Ben focuses on projects that fuse technology & user interaction and is responsible for daily operations. His work has been discussed in numerous publications including CNBC, The Robb Report, Maxim, CNET, Stuff.tv, This Old House, The Telegraph, Gizmodo, Cult Of Mac, Car & Driver Magazine, Playboy Magazine and on NPR. Ben specializes in solid modeling, prototyping, DFA, DFM, and interaction design. His extensive work in assembly and CNC machining optimizes design for production-oriented product development. He holds a Bachelors degree from Hampshire College focusing on Product Design and Development.

    Nathan Tobiason



    Product Designer



    Nathan is both a designer and a fabricator. His experience with working with metal, wood, plastic, foam and fabric gives him valuable knowledge of how objects can go from design to manufacturing on a small or large scale. Nathan is a key member of the Brainstream team and generates much of our IP. His innovative outlook on furniture drives a constant flow of new products that are often sought-after in foreign and domestic markets. Nathan holds his Bachelors degree from Hampshire College in Furniture Design.

    Design Engineer



    Xander loves sheet metal. If it can be stamped, bent, rolled, pressed, or formed, Xander knows how to do it with an efficiency and quality that will knock your socks off. His mastery of every fabrication technique under the sun is one of Brainstream's most prized possessions. In addition to his hands-on knowledge, Xander works wonders in brainstorming sessions, making sure no idea (however off-the-beaten-path it may be) goes unturned. His broad-natured perspective continually forces the rest of the team to digest ideas from varied perspectives.
